The Inaugural IHSAA Boys Volleyball Tournament is Underway! Covenant is competing in Sectional #12, hosted this year at Center Grove High School. This nine-team sectional includes Avon, Ben Davis, Brownsburg, Center Grove, Decatur Central, Mooresville, Monrovia, and Plainfield. While there are no class divisions in boys volleyball, the Warriors (19–4) enter the tournament as a skilled and formidable team with the potential to shake up the bracket. Riding a 9-game winning streak, they open sectional play against Brownsburg tomorrow (Wednesday) at 5:30 PM. Led by a senior-heavy roster, the Warriors will rely on the experience of Noah Cooper, Mark Crane, Joe Geimer, James Shields, Landyn Parker, and Josiah Swearingen, while also turning to the offensive firepower of juniors Micah Manning and Isaac Crane. If Covenant defeats the Bulldogs, they’ll advance to face the winner of Ben Davis vs. Plainfield on Saturday at 11:00 AM. The sectional championship match will follow later that day at 6:00 PM.
